Calling all you crafty people out there to use your skills to raise money for Ty Hafan - the Children's Hospice in Wales Registered Charity Number - 1047912 SEE SOME COMPLETED SQUARES!
Help to create a Welsh Dragon the size of the Millennium Stadium pitch encompassing all the creative textile crafts. For example - patchwork, hand or machine knitting, cross stitch, crochet, weaving, tapestry, applique etc (Please note that crochet should consist of a fairly close/firm stitch). You can apply to do any number of squares (25cm/10") in the craft of your choice at a cost of £1 each, for which you will be sent labels indicating the colour (or colours) allocated and the particular area of the total work you will be contributing to. The appropriate label is to be stuck on the reverse of each square on submission. FREE PATTERN AVAILABLE for those knitters/stitchers who do not feel they are particularly creative. When the massive blanket has been finished it will be sent in pieces to the third world - so nothing will be wasted!
